Open letter from our owners.

We’re excited to be back in your kitchens cooking for full houses and happy students in 2023.

Hello, houses!

We’re excited to be back in your kitchens cooking for full houses and happy students in 2023.

You may have heard about big changes in our industry. Mergers and acquisitions have combined two companies, which is now owned by an investment firm.

Greek House Chefs, on the other hand, is still very much 100% owned and operated by us, Carey and Corey Hansen. We don’t answer to investors. We answer only to our houses, house boards and house members. As it should be.

As owners, we’re hands on in the day-to-day operations of our company, collaborating with vendors, building relationships with houses and inspiring Chefs to create delicious meals. And, because GHC is privately-owned, our personal approach to service and support is second to none. (Probably not the same feeling you’d get from working with our recently merged competitor.)

Although we agree change can be good at times, we find that in our industry consistency earns trust—trust in management, trust in Chefs and trust in quality food. That makes us the safest and best option in the industry. At least that’s what our customers say.

Speaking of customers, thanks to them, Greek House Chefs is a thriving company now operating in 32 states with more than 420 employees. We’re pretty sure we’re on a campus near you. And if not, we’ll be there soon.

Looking forward to more wonderful partnerships—and equally wonderful meals—in 2023.

Thank you! Corey + Carey Hansen
